How much does counseling cost?
Adam charges $125 for initial sessions, and $100 per session after that. He accepts cash, check, or card. Adam is an in network provider with:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
and he is actively pursuing in network status with a number of other insurance carriers. For those carriers Adam cannot currently accept, he will happily provide a receipt for out of network filing. Please contact Adam for the most up-to-date insurance information.
How long will I have to be in counseling?
How long you are in counseling is entirely up to you. The best way to predict the length of the counseling process is to consider the goals you hope to achieve. This being said, the average course of counseling tends to hover around 12 sessions.
What are Adam’s credentials?
Adam is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a Licensed Professional Counselor (license number 70589).
Adam graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in December 2012 with a Masters in Biblical Counseling. This is a 90-hour program with extensive coursework in Bible exposition, theology, and counseling. Since then, Adam has worked with groups, couples, families, and individual men and women between the ages of 14 and 87 of varied ethnicity. Adam has completed additional coursework in marital counseling approaches and techniques.
